Hey guys... tis the clueless wonder again to pick your brains and ask more questions!

My friend sent me a crystal the other day to help me through what could potentially be a tough time. I have no idea what crystal it is (It's green and without actually showing you all I have no idea how else to describe it!) but I'll ask her another time. I was wondering however what should I do to get the most from my new crystal?

Well for now i would put it out in the sun amoungs the flowers to cleans and recharge its energy.

Otherwise id put it out for 4 or 5 hours in the moon tonight.

Then tonight put it under your pillow.

What did she give the crystal to help with, is it emotion or physical pain?

It's for emotional pain, I'm having trouble letting go of a relationship that ended a good while ago. I'm being 'tested' at the moment because he has kind of come back in to my life and I'm worried that I'm going to give in to him and I need to be strong!!!

Do the cleansing and then keep the crystal with you, cleansing it as often as you can especially after a meeting with him.

You can also invoke Archangel Michael to protect you, say his name three times and just ask him to protect you and your emotions from this guy until you are able to cope on your own, if you see the man then imagine Archangel Michaels shield (which is studded with rubbies) between the two of you stopping any transfer of auras.

an affirmation you could say every morning and evening to have more faith in yourself would be

I love who I am, I am grounded in my own power.
I am secure on all levels.

A spell i read in a magazine once with regard to someone who you would rather not have in your life is to put their name on a piece of paper and put it in the freezer. evidently it works.

Good luck, but above all this you should remember you are a very powerful person and much stronger than you are giving yourself credit for.

Why do some people act like YoYo's in your life? It's soo annoying! Just when you are back on your feet and looking forwards, there they are again!

I've been through similar myself, had my heart broken 3 times by the same guy cos I kept weakening and taking him back! But the last time I took him back I was a lot stronger and the first sign of the old "I'm fed up with you" routine and I was off! I'd done it! I'd "got even" if you like and it felt great! Never looked back since that day!

Anyway, it sounds like the crystal you have been given is a Serpentine. This is a healing stone and encourages calm and a sense of inner peace. Just the thing for emotional trauma's.

I echo all the advice for cleansing and charging so nothing to add there except you have to believe the crystal will work for you. Put a little faith in it and this will encourage it to help you even more.

True - but is only now, at the age of 30, that I can look back and appreciate those endless nights of crying myself to sleep when I was 20, was all worth something!

At the time I felt like my world had ended and when the third time came around and I was strong enough to be the one to walk away I wasn't getting mad - I was getting even - and that was all that I could see at the time. :kar:

It's true that time heals, but it's in situations like this that we could sometimes do with a "sneak peek" at the future just to make sure we're going to be OK.

I'm getting deep here, but I wonder how many suicides would be avoided if having a "sneak peek" was possible!
