Hi, I was just looking and saw that I said I would post a meditation to meet your power animals, and so here it is (at long last I here you say), sorry for the delay
MEDITATION TO MEET POWER ANIMALS
Begin by making sure you are going to be undisturbed and the phone is switched off.
Make sure you are sitting or lying down and are quite comfortable,have some drumming or music of your choice, make sure you have a glass of water to drink this will help to ground you when you are finished.
Having done these things let us begin.
Begin by allowing your breathing to become relaxed and with each inner and outer breath feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed, with each inner breath you are breathing in the divine love unconditional love that is spirit and with each outer breath you are breathing out the stresses and strains of everyday life, allow that inner breath to completely fill you, filling every particle of your being, breathing in and breathing out.
Now allow your awareness to go to your roots and see your roots going down like the roots of a tree going deep into Mother Earth going deeper and deeper into Mother Earth until you are completely grounded and start to see a wonderful golden energy coming from Mother Earth and travelling up through your roots and into your being moving higher and higher up your being, as it travels through you it may come across blockages, these blockages are caused by stress, pain or situations within your life at this time yet these blockages may be causing your energy flow to be blocked, envisage these blockages as blocks of ice and as the warm golden energy flows over the ice so it melts allowing the energy to continue it journey filling you with golden light, as it reaches your crown chakra allow it to be released through your crown chakra and into your aura where it is cleansing and clearing your aura of any negativity.
Now be aware of a beautiful white light coming from above and entering into your aura as it does so it begins to wash the golden light out of your aura and down through your crown chakra and down through the rest of your being, this beautiful white light is washing the golden light back out of your being taking any impurities with it, releasing and washing out until it is being washed back out through your roots and back out into Mother Earth, where any negativity is transmuted into pure divine unconditional love and is sent out into the universe to be used for the good of all mankind and the animal kingdom and also Mother Earth as she too is in need of healing.
And now that you are a being of pure white light allow your awareness to go to your heart chakra and see that light within your heart becoming brighter and as it does your awareness begins to rise higher and higher until you find yourself coming to the heart of the sun, you find yourself entering the heart of the sun and you find yourself in a place a intense beauty and so tranquil, you are met by a being of light and you feel as though you have met before, your companion asks you to go with him/her and as you walk together you see before you a cave, your companion tells you to enter the cave and as you enter and go deeper into the cave it begins to get darker the deeper you go, you are aware that the path is leading you downwards you are going into the heart of the cave, when you reach the bottom you are walking through a path knowing that your companion is waiting for you, as you walk through the cave you begin to meet animals and as you ask the animal are you my power animal you will get a reply of yes/no, if yes then you will meet the animal and ask it four times if you get four yes answers then that animal is your power animal, if you get a no at any time then you carry on your journey, now please do not worry if no animal you meet gives you a yes it maybe that you are not quite ready to meet with them, although generally doing this meditation you will meet with an animal who is for you.
Having met with the animal you should then spend sometime wtih the animal and ask if it has a message for you and for a sign in order that you will know when it is with you.
When you have spent time with your animal, bid the animal fairwell for the time being knowing that now you have made this connection you will be working closely with it. begin to walk back to the entrance of the cave where you are met by your companion and begin to walk back to the heart of the sun.
You then bring yourself back through the heart of the sun and bring your awareness back into your being, bring that light back into your heart and see it becoming smaller, where it shines for all to see, and all who see this light will know that you work with the love and light of spirit.
Once you are fully back begin to bring your roots back up from Mother Earth thanking her for helping you in your journey.
See yourself standing on a silver cross in a circle of white light and bring that light up around yourself in a spiral for a count of seven and at the crown chakra send a shaft of light down through the centre completely sealing you and protecting you.
I hope you will be able to follow this meditation as it really is a good way of meeting your power animal or animals.
