What is soul Retrieval?

Soul retrieval is an important part of the Shamans work. Wonder what a lady Shaman is called!!

Why do we need soul retrieval?

think of things we say when something sad or tragic happens."when he died part of me died too", when she left part of me went with her. this sort of saying denotes soul loss.
To retrieve"lost soul parts" the Shaman travels to the spirit world and finds out where these parts are & returns them to their owner (client). The shaman returns them to the client through breath, ie the shaman blows the retrieved part of the soul into the persons crown chakra & heart chakra. counselling may also be needed, therefore the Shaman learns about this by doing a soul retrieval course. This is a simple explanation of soul retrieval. i have experienced it in my own life and can say it is a very powerful way of healing.

Thats was helpful thank you, so it's not something you can learn over the internet for example, it sounds like a very in depth part of shamanism which you must have proper training for or I could see you getting into dodgy water and possibly doing more damage than good.

I've heard of the lost parts of the soul being retrieved by singing them home too - do you know much about that aspect of soul retrieval as it has fascinated me since I first came across it?

quick question though (miss) Meg...

Would both the client and shaman need to ground before this work?
If the shaman grounds - as everything tells us to do, over and over - how do they travel in search of the soul?
also... i've got started now... why both crown and heart?
I can understand the heart - to bond again with the pieces that were missing - but the crown?
Is this to gain knowledge of where the soul has been?
Or isit to inform the shaman of its travels?
Or is it to ground the client again, and send the pieces on a down path, towards Mudlahara, and the earth, connecting with mother again, therefore clients origions...?
