People may ask what does MM mean by "how shamanism found me"

I never had any interest in shamanism in fact i didnt even know what it was!

My darling husband bought me a gift voucher for a local healing centr who aoffered a range of alternative therapies. As i had already tried the other therapies and am naturally inquisitive lol no not nosy just inquisitive, i decided to give was was advertised as "spiritual healing" a go.

My appointment date arrived and i was introduced to a lovely girl called Anne.
She was approximately 35 years old. We chatted informally for an hour about my life.
I told Anne about an emotional & physical breakdown I had 7 years previously.
At this stage i thought i had dealt with all my issues and had just come for this treatment to use up the gift voucher!!

Anne suggested that i hadnt dealt with my issues "spiritually".She explianed a bit about Shamanism and how we can journey to the spirit world to get healing for ourselves. She also talked about loss of 'power' which can result in emotional & mental illness such as depression.
As she prepared to journey to retrieve my 'power animal' i prepared to run out the door!!!!
I thought she had lost her marbles but she talked me int staying to see what would happen. I laid on a blanket on the floor and anne wrapped me up in a blanket.
She put on a drumming c.d. and sang her 'power song. All this time i had one eye on the door planning my escape!!!!
But eventually i relaxed and found myself drifting into a trance.Anne talked "the journey" as she was in the spirit world and came back with a wild boar as my spirit animal, She proceeded to blow the animal into my crown & heart chakra.

I felt more empowered after that treatment than i had done in years and came back for a further 6 treatments.

Anne notified me when a Shamanic course came up and i enrolled.

So as i said "Shamanism found me!"

I had the story first hand when staying over there for the weekend!

So---how did I find this path??

mmm I looked around the room after answering a mail from a lady that "found" our shop by chance and bought a crystal from us....that led to several emails back n forth and then a phone call and booking flights and going to meet not just my teacher--but her family And now all are friends of the highest order

I have around my healing room many books and ornaments etc that are all to do with the Native American's and now since I attuned Ra chi--a spirit guide by the name of Great Bear...hence my nic on the boards!

I have felt at "home" since starting out on the long path of the Shaman! But with help I know I will get there!
