Well a Celtic Reiki Master now whistling.gif .
It's been a wonderful 3 weeks, and although the Ogham alphabet was hard to pick up banghead.gif , it has been so worth learning. So 3 attunements and a lot of book.gif have kept me off the forum, but I'm back now thumbsup.gif

My 1st attunement took me to a place that was very like a prehistoric woodland. The trees did not have much in the way of foliage, but as barren as it was, it was a wonderful sight, and a bit intense.

My 2nd attunement took me to a dense forest, but I was so small in comparison to the trees. It was like a child’s perspective almost. The trunks looked like faces and I got the distinct feeling I was being watched!

My 3rd attunement was wonderful. I was in woodland, of Sliver Birch and Larch. It was light and airy and I could see a glorious blue sky above.
I've adjusted to the new energies and the "cleanse" has been okay so far thumbsup.gif

Celtic Reiki uses the vibrations of the earth and certain trees and shrubs. The energy is drawn through the root chakra instead of the crown, but I find they work very well together. Now I get "hot" feet as well as hands laugh.gif
Will post more as I get a better grasp of the energy of the system and of the trees, but don't need the rope just yet GuruLazer mf_w00t1.gif

I'm showing my ignorance now, coz I've never heard of Celtic Reiki before.
What drew you to it? other than the differences you have mentioned are there any other big differences between that and "normal reiki"?

Well done again Master June clapping.gif clapping.gif

Different.....yes.

To me, Usui Reiki flows, like a silent river of bright light. I sense it as heat and see it a glow. I also get a soft breeze about my face when using it.

Celtic Reiki comes through me as a vibration, still hot, but does not glow the same as Usui Reiki. It's a "rougher" energy, but this may be due to it being an earth energy. It is by no means smooth flowing but I've managed to sense the differences between some of the tree's and shrubs I'm working with.
The tree "names" are as important as the symbols, are used as a mantra and I had to try saying them in different tones and speeds until it felt right. Once you get it right... there is no mistaking the energy kicking in.

Celtic Reiki is wonderful for "manifestation" and helps with the achievement of goals.
Something I need, so perhaps the reason for going down this road g.gif
I also have a great interest in trees and their healing properties and don't think we know nearly as much about them as we should.

The attunements and healings can be done "distantly" or "hands on". My attunements were distant.
There are 5 Celtic Master symbols used in the attunement of students but I use the Usui "distant" symbol to send healing. The symbols relate to specific chakra as well and I have found them to be very effective on the third eye.

I'm creating an alphabet of poems to help me remember the particular qualities of the trees and shrubs that I'm using book.gif .
Sooooo much to remember laugh.gif

Catching up on these posts when I can and this has intrigued me junipersky!

Never heard of celtic reiki before but from what you have posted it sounds like it's quite different from Usui Reiki.
Oooo and congrats by the way, hats off to ya!! thumbup.gif
