wacko.gif I'm so sorry if I'm boring everyone with this but need your help ....again rolleyes.gif

If you were looking to take a crystal healing correspondence course would you think it would help you if there was the option of attending a 1 - 2 day workshop to practice with your healing abilities ? (a little birdie gave me this idea - you know who you are ...thanks alot thumbup.gif )

Would you be prepared to travel to attend ?

If you took this course would you look to use it to start your practice ?

Would you prefer to attend a 1 to 2 year course at a local college or is this too much of a comittment for you and would prefer the ease of learning at your own pace ?

g.gif I am trying to gauge whether this course is a viable one to put together. I know when i took my first correspondence course that if I had just gone on this alone I wouldnt have known what to do on the practical side as it didnt cover this hence why I am trying to steer more to information on how to actually use healing energies (practical side) instead of just the literary side, interesting as it is !

Any views on what you would decide to do when looking for courses would be appreciated.

thanks again bye1.gif

I wouldnt do a yearly course.

Either one or two days at the weekend would be my ideal.

Would love to do a weekly one even but work just doesnt allow

As for traveling if your interested and its something i really wanted to do then yes id travel.......

Off to Eastbourne in a couple of weeks to do a weekend course with Tony Stockwell, hopefully he'll be able to bangin.gif some sence into me laugh.gif

I probably would not commit to something that would take 1 to 2 years either.
Weekend courses, I would consider, but a correspondence course would probably be my preferred choice.

If you want to cover the practical side in a correspondence course then you may want to think about web classes.
I was speaking to someone recently, who has a mate that teaches Fly Tying via his web cam.

As long as people know when to log on, you can go over the practical things that way.
Something else to think about I suppose.

Archangel,

How about including an option to have a w/end practical session for those that would be interested?

I wouldn't mind traveling, say 10miles once a week, for a few weeks, for say a couple of hours.
And as spof52 said, have the hands on as an extra if interested, or include it in the course if you feel it should be learnt. xxx
Spirit Amethyst
I think the "hands on" practical bit is invaluable for a correspondance course, not just from the teaching perspective but it also enables fellow students to meet up, share thoughts and ideas and to consolidate their learning. Travelling will always be an issue, but if people are eager enough and want to attend distance should not be a barrier. Most Open University course all have a "meet up" arranged for the above reasons I've mentioned.

Going very sightly offtopic.gif ....Sulis...A WHOLE weekend with Tony Stockwell ohmy.gif

biggrin.gif thanks everyone !

I was thinking of including the workshops within the correspondence course price but wondered whether this would increase the cost too much. I had thought of giving the option of including it within the course payment at a slightly reduced rate or as an alternative of buying them at a later date for the normal price (if that makes sense). I would suppose that would depend on how peeps finances were as to what they decided to do !

Thanks guys - thats been really helpful. And Junipersky thanks for the idea of the web classes. Unfortunately my 'puter at home is very sick and temperamental - tried using the chat room for the first time on Sunday and crashed it for everyone !!! blush.gif Great idea for the future I feel so thanks for that.

Love to all
