I know that we are talking about our fav's but has anyone have any ideas of an oil i can get for a friend who is having trouble sleeping
I find benzoin great for those transient times - it is comforting and warming, perhaps mixed with something like sandalwood and lemon or even marjoram.
For your friend I would also suggest Bach flower remedies - perhaps Cherry Plum for over active mind if he feels it might go out of control, Sweet CHestnut if he really feels he can take no more (good for suicidal people), Pine for guilt, Agrimony if he hides behind a cheerful face, Gorse - hoplessness / despair, Honeysuckle - living in the past, Star of bethlehem for shock, White chestnut for unwanted thoughts, Willow - self pity and resentment...........I could go on; you get the picture - lots to choose from depending on the presenting symptoms

and they work powerfully, but subtley, so you don't feel you have been blown away by the effects.
I tend to think of BFRs and essential oils as very supportive.
Special (((HUGS))) to your friend
