Hi there - my first post is a question!

I've been doing some self-healing recently - and also a few treatments on friends - after a period of reiki neglect (ashamed face!). Last night I had a very strong sensation almost as soon as I started the self-healing - a downward pressure on my head - not quite like distinct hands but defintely a pushing sensation - almost to an uncomfortable degree.

Has anyone had a similar experience? I can't decide on whether I think it was some helpful healing from another source kicking in or else my crown chakra opening to receive the healing.... If it's any help, my third eye spontaneously opened at the same time.

oooooo you can get so many different sensations with Reiki both giving and recieving......certainly felt this before myself!

My thoughts would be that you are being "opened" up a bit more....

What level of Reiki are you??

Hi Great Bear - thanks for the post - I've actually had my Master's attunement but didn't feel totally ready to be honest (I wanted to take it with my exisiting teacher in the UK before I came over) - so have only consciously really used Reiki up to II at the moment.

I am though planning on doing some "practice" attunements on 2 friends shortly - because I would like to teach - so maybe "they" were getting me ready. I've also been doing regular Hatso Ho Rei (spelling?) over the last few days so maybe that had something to do with it also.
